                  to understand:  Students learn the basic properties of all electromagnetic radiations and they categorize them according to their wavelength.

                  factual knowledge:  Learners categorize the radiations and learn how they are used in every day life.

                  to respond and participate:  Students divided into groups search for information about all radiations as well as their applications. At the end of the activity they present their findings to their classmates.

                  to perform independently, skilfully and precisely:  The presentation of the properties and applications of each radiation as well as their presentation in the correct order are entirely up to the students. The teacher only gives certain guidelines.
