The pathways sent to the organizational committee will be evaluated under the following criteria:
.The Pathways are created in the OSR portal using the “Structured Pathway” authoring tool and all steps of the process are completed properly.
.The pathway is created following the Inquiry Based Science Education methodology as it is presented in the pathway authoring tool.
.The interdisciplinary approach of the pathway subject chosen and its connection with the curricula.
.The use of digital material from the participating museums and research centers.
.The plethora of supportive material provided by the author in each phase of the pathway.
.The originality of the subject chosen.
.The creativity, research skills and inventive nature of the pathway author.
.The ability of the pathway to be replicated and adapted by others easily.

The results will be announced on the 30th of September 2011. The authors of the two best educational pathways will have the chance to participate to the International OSR Training Workshop that will be organised in the framework of the EDEN Open Classroom Conference (http://www.eden-online.org/eden.php?menuId=547) in Athens, Greece (27th to 29th of October 2011). All the costs of their participation (travel costs, accommodation, conference fee) will be covered by the organising committee.
