This pathway is designed to guide the educator in teaching of the 2nd chapter of the school book for the 3rd grade of Lyceum. The subject is “Atomic phenomena”.

Este percurso destina-se a orientar o professor no ensino do capítulo 2 do livro escolar para o 3º ano do Liceu. O assunto é "fenómenos atómicos".Está aplicado ao ensino desenvolvido na Grécia mas pode ser adaptado tendo em conta o ensino português.

to think critically and creatively: Students use simulations to evaluate and compare different models of atomic structure.

conceptual knowledge: Students learn about the elementary particles of matter, their properties as well as the principles that define their behaviour.

to respond and participate: The entire presentation of the history atomic structure is purely based on presentations made by the students.
Psycomotor
to perform independently, skilfully and precisely: Through the use of simulations students practice in making accurate measurements and use them in order to conduct conclusions.
